MATTHEW P. BOYER

Matthew P. Boyer is a Senior Adviser to Cooper Investment Partners. Prior to joining CIP, Matt was a Partner and Managing Director at The Carlyle Group, focused on buyouts in media, communications and IT services. Previously, Matt was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers and one of the founding members of the Lehman Brothers Communications Fund, an $800 million private equity fund focused on early stage investments in communications companies. Prior to that, he was an investment banker at Lehman Brothers in the Communications and Media Group where he focused on wireless and emerging wireline communications companies. Before joining Lehman Brothers, Matt was an Associate in the Media and Telecommunications Group at Chase Securities.

Matt received an M.B.A. and an M.I.A. from Columbia University and a B.A. in political science from Duke University.
